The Tiverton Rod and Gun Club (TRGC) Black Powder Range is designed to preserve the traditional skills of the American Mountain Man and American Indian.

The Primitive Range is open from March through October with several competitive events scheduled throughout the season. Participants often dress in traditional garb, and many choose to pitch a tent and camp on site for the event.
